Ballpoint or Fountain pen?

I thought it would be fun to try fountain pens, but gosh they are expensive; about $10 each!

I scribbled with a ballpoint, It’s pretty bold and if you like that they don’t cost much.

Then a Pilot Kakuno for $10.44 ( https://amzn.to/3LF5Kfn ) Nice fine point if you want detail.

Then an Amazon pen in a nice box that came with a total of 3 tubes for $10.52 ( https://amzn.to/41g6Owa)- That would be my choice of fountain but for the fact that it tends to stop working. Also the int tube came out, hence the useless scribble at the top. Maybe it’s just the one I got?

Both are fine point pens, medium point might work better.
