Bus of abandoned dreams

We noticed this old charter bus sitting in a side yard. I think the owner has or had big plans for this diesel pusher. One clue, the destination board reads AMERICA.

Maybe it is to be a homemade Winnebago wunna-be? Or did someone get carried away at an auction? Been there, done that.

If they can keep it protected from the ravages of time, maybe it will be valuable to someone who appreciates our rich automotive history. This is why I like to watch “Vice Grip Garage” on YouTube.
