Here’s a matchbook advertising Vick’s cough drops. I thought, that probably did the trick! But then- wait… It’s a MATCHBOOK. The person that needs cough drops probably smokes. Why not quit the cancer sticks and nip that cough in the bud?
Of course back then, practically everyone smoked. So the cough was to be expected. Good thing for them the covid mess was years away. It would be hard to sort people out.
