Working from home… It’s not new.

Not so many years ago, we all depended on “Ma Bell” and Western Electric… It was fine for doing business though. You didn’t have to see each other, and you could read a lot listening to tone of voice, hesitations, and so forth.

The zoom thing they have now is just unacceptable. You have to put on your office clothes (from the waist up, if you dare) and smile for the camera. You can’t make the “yada yada yada” pantomine to amuse your housemates.

The worst thing is, you can’t angrily slam the handset down in disgust. No wonder everyone has all the pent-up rage. I wish they would keep it pent-up though.
