Travel light for better mileage

Why did Campanella and Cardi hire this scrawny, skinny little guy to drive one of their huge industrial cement trucks? Is he somebody’s nephew? I am not convinced he can handle the job.

I thought maybe it might help with the gas mileage, but I used to have an International Travelall that got the same lousy mileage whether it was loaned with lumber and bags of cement or completely empty. And this rig weighs a lot more than that.

He’s probably just their mascot at the time, but he doesn’t instill confidence. Can he even reach the pedals?
