Elvis lives! Thanks Mr. Wertheimer

I was standing out on the lawn when I heard my mother crying; that was the day Elvis died. Fortunately Alfred Wertheimer was a photographer with relatively unfettered access to the king.

Here we have Elvis reviewing his most recent recording session. I thought he was in the hospital at first glance, but I guess he just liked to be comfortable.

I don’t know why or when they printed these Elvis trading cards(?) but my wife treasures them.
