Normally I don’t like to reference the turmoil in the world today, but I ran across this Mad Magazine cover trading card, and COME ON… it’s a little bit too “on the nose” if anything.

No covid, but my parents both got what they called the “Hong Kong Flu” – They were so happy to have survived it that they bought a color TV and new living room furniture. I thought it was to watch the moon landing in style, but no.
