WHERE ARE THE BALLS?
I got this old bowling medallion from Listia.com for almost free. It is inscribed on the front, (above their club’s “coat of arms”) 25th Anniversary, the coat of arms says 1942, so either the medallion was made in 1967…

…Or the club was established in 1917, just in time for that flu pandemic. Talk about rotten timing!
The W.I.B.C. was/is the Women’s International Bowling Congress- Women were once excluded from bowling, and they resented missing the chance to wear those stylish bowling shoes.
One thing you don’t see often is old bowling balls. some of them have been sprayed with a reflective paint and used as gazing balls by whimsical gardeners, but that would only account for a small number of them. I suppose most of them are slowly decomposing in landfills.
