Bobo had more fun

I sometimes get Bobo, a gorilla who lived at the Woodland Park Zoo in Seattle, confused with Ivan, a gorilla raised as a pet and then confined for some time in a cage at the “B&I Circus Store” in Tacoma. That was OK in the 60’s and 70’s, but later he was moved to the Atlanta Zoo. Probably confusing times for Ivan, but ultimately the best case scenario.

Bobo got birthday cake every year, but suffered from having a small human boy growing out of his back. (Unfortunately Bobo died young. RIP Bobo.)
