WAKE UP CHARLIE

Here’s a matchbook from a place called Charlies. On the cover, it appears that Charlie has been roofied. Her establishment was at 1303 S Winchester Blvd. in San Jose. But no more.

I noticed in my cursory research that there are two Charlie’s restaurant chains, Charlie’s Cheesecake and Charlie’s Cheesesteak. Why not both?

Anyway, the inside of the matchbook assures, CHARLIE LOVES YOU. Nevermind that there is no indication anywhere what kind of business it is. All I know is, Charlie needs to love me from 6 feet away.
