I don’t normally collect match BOXES, just match BOOK covers. But you have to love the martini drinking sad clown on this one. I don’t know why he is still sad. Go figure clowns.

This Matchbook is from some chemical manufacturer(?) Match-me out of Palm Springs

This was advertising for the Match-Me Corporation out of Palm Springs. I couldn’t dig up anything about them- Looks like they use a chemical when “the steel and flint fail or proves troublesome”. I have no clue, and no evidence, but I suspect the factory blew to smithereens at some point.
